I know I have found a joy and a happiness in my practice that I haven’t always had. Too often it’s easy to think, “I’m not making any progress. Why can’t I do this? I’m ‘failing’ at yoga. This is just another expectation in my life, something I have to do.” and you continually remind us that that is NOT what it is about. And I know others feel the same way.  I feel so uplifted after her classes.” 🙂

I used to always set my intention for a class as peace or relaxation, because I thought that somehow that was the “opposite” of my stressful job and what I needed. But I was trying to use peace to mean oblivion or separateness or forgetting and that is not how life works–you can’t always separate yourself from the bad. But now I almost always choose the word “joy” because that is really what I want. Life is hard, but I don’t want oblivion, I want to find the joy despite the what life throws at me. Thank you for helping me find that.

A few years ago, employees at SQL Sentry (now SentryOne) expressed an interest in attending Yoga, and since one of our core values is Fitness, we researched the area and found Community Yoga to be a great option. Amy, the Owner, worked with us and allowed our employees to come attend class with a SQL Sentry Pass, and then, she billed the Company monthly for their attendance. We had so much success from this program we decided to bring yoga in house and onsite in our Training Room! Now, we offer yoga every other Wednesday in our office, and Amy has been terrific! Our team looks forward to her classes and have had positive things to say. We are working on setting aside funding so we can do Yoga every week now as a result!

We have found Yoga to be a relaxing and healing form of fitness for us. The classes are truly transforming for our stressed out mind and bodies. Amy is always there for us to teach, support and facilitate the process, even for those of us with very little experience. We would recommend Amy, her Studio and her onsite Yoga program to everyone!

Even though I didn’t think I was a yoga person, I thought a Community Yoga corporate pass would be nice for our staff. Who within the dental field doesn’t need a little calm and quiet, some stretching and breathing after a long day or a long week at work? I never thought I would be the one who would fall in love with Community Yoga and Amy’s gentle approach. It’s not often that you walk into a place where you’re greeted like an old friend, welcomed with a hug or a warm words, and then given the gift of time to just “be”- be in your body, relax your mind, connect your spirit to all that is. Every class I have ever participated in has left me feeling inspired and grateful. Grateful to Amy and grateful for Community Yoga and all the good that flows through this space.

Amy Schneider is a guru and a guide. Whether you have a new or established practice, find your way to a mat at Community Yoga. Amy holds her class in a space that allows permission all around. I found her lessons deep and wide, undoubtedly leaving an imprint that will feed my soul in a way that I had not have even known I hungered for.  So much more than a health and fitness realm, Amy creates a safely grounded and mindful setting so that I found a life changing awakening. Gift your mind, body, and spirit a transformative experience; even better to bring friends you can share it with. When you seek and learn to heal yourself, we heal the world. Begin with Community Yoga.
