Cornelius Animal Shelter

Community Yoga has chosen the Cornelius Animal Shelter for the 2012 Seva projects.Community Yoga has many animal loving teachers/students/children, supporint the Shelter is a perfect fit! Stacey Barnet will head up our efforts and she will keep you informed on how you too can assist. Contact Stacey at 704-408-1599 with any questions. In advance we thank you all.

The Cornelius Animal Shelter is a special project operated by the Town of Cornelius to provide the best possible service to animal populations in our Town. All volunteers, past and present, are directly responsible providing a outstanding care for animals coming into our facility. The shelter is also supported financially by the Cornelius Animal Shelter Alliance (CASA). CASA provides funding for medical wellness programs and equipment at the shelter.

Adopt-a-Highway

Community Yoga's adopted highway is at HWY 73 and SR 115!  Look for our sign and please come out to help us beautify our roads! We at Community Yoga would like to give a special thanks to Will D, who was the coordinator of the program in 2011 and who will again be heading the efforts. Please come out to join us on the following dates. This is a wonderful opportunity for young adults to work their community service hours often required by schools, church groups or just their own desire to do service!
